This is a full set of seven surcharged stamps with
a soft black overprint.
Chan lists, as an additional set, the 50f on 10f pair in black/violet, this may have been regarded by Kerr as simply be a colour variation. All of the above stamps come from an old collection (pre-dating Kerr) in which the town is labelled Hwa Tien. I therefore believe that Chan is correct to include a violet hand-stamp for this town. These are the only stamps known for this village. |
